Val Kilmer is a dead ringer for Frank Luke Jr (Middle Picture). Frank Luke was a World War I was hero, and had a very interesting life. That would make a great movie, if Hollywood knew what the American people like to really see. American airmen flying Spad vintage fighters.

Love the story of American hero Frank Luke.
I used to think , politics aside , that in his younger days , Sean Penn was a dead ringer for Frank. Likewise Brad Pitt , or the late Patrick Swayze either could have played him well.
Lastly the old Air Wolf star, the late Jan Michael Vincent, could have been a candidate .
Sadly no movie as yet has been dedicated to Luke. The closest two productions are an animated short film on you tube entitled "The Legend of Murvaux", and a character depiction who resembles Luke's exploits in the film " Flyboys".Check out the you tube enty.
